Partnerships

Our goal is to be the best possible partner for companies who seek long-term, value-driven relationships with the federal government and the power utilities.  We are former public servants who want to create great solutions for the public sector. Success at Global BGITM Corporation is defined by the positive reputation of our clients and significant growth in business size, scope, and strategic value.

Philosophically, we believe that building a business relationship takes time.  We invest in a partnership for the long-term.  We aim to understand our partner’s vision of their company, then identify compatibility with the market.  We have deep experience with federal and utility customers, and we help companies understand the customers’ perspectives and biases.  Our horizon enables transformative thinking on behalf of the partner company and the federal or utility customer.  Both must come together for the customer to adopt great solutions.

As former public servants who have served in these agencies across multiple business cycles, we are aware of the opportunity to take advantage of benign periods as well as adverse environments.  We help companies play offense instead of reacting to markets and competitors. By consistently applying our insights, judgment and growth strategies over sustained periods, we help companies grow in scale, capabilities and strategic significance.

Logistics Management InstituteLMI brings together the best management and technical minds to address intricate issues across the federal government. As administrations, priorities, and policies have changed over the last 50 years, LMI’s mission has remained constant.

LMI’s employees come from diverse backgrounds: government and defense, business and industry, and academia and research. More than half are either veterans or former civil servants, and more than 80 percent have advanced degrees. They work for LMI because they believe in our mission of improving the management of government.

Federal agencies value LMI’s not-for-profit status and specialized services in logistics, information management, asset management, organizational improvement, and resource management. They have comprehensive experience in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, health care, and energy and environment markets.

This combination of broad perspective, deep analytical skill, and a public-service mission, so unusual in government consulting, enables LMI to offer practical—and often original and unconventional—solutions to enable federal managers to attain their agency’s objectives.
